Elterwater

Today we spent a few hours wandering around the Elterwater area. At the end, we headed for the lovely Chesters By The River cafe, and I rewarded myself with salmon and pea frittata, which was lush 😀

Ambleside Amble

More hiking yesterday. A quick 13km round trip to Ambleside. Nice. Snapped this tree with the little secondhand Panasonic LX3 I bought specially for hiking. Turned out quite well, I thought.

No running this week so far, but I made up for it with a 14-kilometre wander around the Crinke Crags. Hard work, but worth it for the views 😀
